The information noted here describes how things were before Covid-19 and we hope and pray will be again.
Anniversary Sunday, takes place on the second Sunday in February to honor and celebrate our married parishioners. We specifically honor those married for 5 to 40 years, in 5 year increments, and then every couple married for 40 or more years. The day consists of attending the Sunday 10:30am Mass to receive your special blessing, followed by a wonderful lunch reception in the Parish Hall for each of these special couples.
In order to make this event such a success, we need many dedicated volunteers. You can join the Planning Committee that will meet monthly and/or you can choose to help during the celebration weekend. The weekend work includes setting up/decorating the Hall on Saturday, working at the event serving and clearing the meal, and/or cleaning up the Hall after the event. And thankfully, we have the Knights of Columbus providing the delicious meal and handling all of the kitchen work, so that part of the day is already handled.
Volunteering for this event is truly wonderful as you get to be a part of celebrating these special married couples.
